Accessing the Correctional Trainer
Enter your username and password then download the desired issue at your convenience. Your username is the first part of your email address (before the @ sign), ex. Sue.Smith@IT.gov – the user name is Sue.Smith. The Correctional Trainer is only available to the IACTP membership. You will be notified via e-mail when a new issue is available. The Correctional Trainer has archived editions available at this site.
As a member you were provided a password which allows access to both The Correctional Trainer and the member’s only listserv. Contact the IACTP Secretariat if you have forgotten or never received a password -- iactp@correctionsmail.com. If you are not interested in being part of the listserv simply send an e-mail requesting to be removed to iactp@correctionsmail.com. You will still receive an e-mail notification about new issues but will not receive listserv messages.

The Correctional Trainer - Information for Submissions
Correctional Trainer is the official publication of the International Association of Correctional training Personnel (IACTP). It is published quarterly by the Association and is distributed to all members. Articles submitted to The Correctional Trainer will be evaluated by the editor and editorial staff. IACTP Board Members are encouraged to solicit articles for publication. Articles of any length are welcome. Please submit as an attachment via email to the editor, bouchard@up.net. The article should be in Times New Roman, 10 pt. font. Articles may be accepted from line trainers, administrators, academia, and other interested parties. Articles may include, but are not limited to book reviews, video reviews, summaries of recent court cases, summaries of curriculum, instructional strategies, training evaluation and organizational impact, use of technology, and news items of general use to IACTP members. Articles will be evaluated for originality, style, organization, readability, documentation, relevance and overall impression. The editor may make changes prior to publication. Any major changes will typically be made by the authors in consultation with the editor. Peer review is available upon request.
